About Us

Jerry Brandt

President

Jerry Brandt is a seasoned electrical contractor AND student of all things related to catching steelhead on the Umatilla River. He’s never tired of watching a released steelhead disappear like a ghost into the river.

Jerry's journey as an electrical contractor began in 1988 when he founded J.L. Brandt Electric, Inc. in Hermiston, Oregon. With dedication and hard work, he nurtured the business from its modest beginnings, gradually expanding its reach.

During his time at J.L. Brandt Electric, he became known for his commitment to excellence, fairness to clients and employees, and community involvement, earning the respect of peers and clients alike. His successful contracts included collaborations with organizations such as the Oregon Department of Transportation, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Federal Aviation Administration, the State of Oregon Military department, and other notable project owners.

In 2016, the company was running smooth under new ownership, so Jerry decided to retire. However, he soon realized retirement was not for him. After a short break, he returned to work as an electrician foreman and general foreman at EC Company, contributing to various data center projects and mentoring young electricians.

“I needed to continue on the walk of life. Retirement wasn’t the way for me,” Jerry said. To him that means helping grow the business and more importantly, being there for the next generation of Allied DCS leaders as they serve our clients and our electricians, emphasizing the values of excellence, fairness, and community service.

Tyler Brandt

Business Manager

Tyler Brandt is a licensed CPA, with a background in accounting and business consulting. When Jerry asked his son if he’d join forces to create Allied DCS, Tyler leapt at the opportunity to create a company from scratch. He oversees the company’s finances and a wide range of business administrative functions.

In addition to his work at Allied DCS, Tyler owns and operates Hermiston Home Works, a company that develops shovel ready building lots for home builders. In his off-time, he travels all around meeting with friends who live in other parts of the country to see live music. Tyler primarily follows the band “Phish”— heirs to the Grateful Dead’s throne— having seen them in Eugene, the Gorge, Denver, The Sphere in Las Vegas, St. Louis, Alpine Valley WI, and all the way down in Cancun.
